Terms & Conditions

Studio Photography

1. All studio shoots must arrive 10 mins before booking, this way the most can be made of your shoot time. Late arrivals could reduce your shooting time if there is an appointment after.

2. A Booking Fee is required to secure a shoot, no shoot is guaranteed until this payment has been made along with signing this agreement.

3. Gift Voucher/s must be presented at the shoot. If the Gift Voucher/s are not present at the shoot it can take place but no images will be uploaded or edited until the Gift Voucher/s have been presented. If either has not been presented within 7 days of the shoot images will be deleted.

4. A change of clothes to vary your photos is welcomed, a suggestion of just one change as this reduces shooting time. A large black curtain which separates the studio is available so clothes changes can be done with privacy and comfort. Shoes are not allowed on the backdrop, either socks (Plain black or white look best but this is your choice) or bare feet are acceptable.

5. Images will be available in an online gallery unedited. Once images have been chosen for editing these can not be changed, however, you can purchase additional images to be edited. Images will be accessible online for 30 days from the date of the shoot. Images after this will then be archived, Images can be unarchived for an additional 30 days with a £10 charge. Images are not guaranteed to be available due to lack of space, drive corruption, etc.

6. If you bring a Pet to a shoot, please make sure they are walked etc hand before coming to the studio to help prevent any accidents in the studio (However accidents do happen this is anticipated and prepared for). Make sure your dog is looking his/her best to get the best pictures and is well-behaved. If your pet is misbehaving please note that you may not get as many pictures to choose from but I will always do my best to get as many as I can. If your pet becomes too misbehaved, vicious or uncontrollable, I will ask you to leave the studio for safety and to prevent anything from getting seriously damaged. An invoice will be issued for any damages.

7. I want you to have fun at your shoot so all that I ask is that children are kept under control as there can be delicate and expensive equipment, The studio is kept as child friendly as possible, however, breakages must be paid for.

8. If a shoot needs to be cancelled or rearrange please give 24 hours' notice, failing to do so will mean the shoot is cancelled and a new shoot along with Booking Fee will need to be remade.

9. All images taken solely belong to the photographer, your images may be used in social media, online or printed media for advertising, if you wish to not have your images used you must make this clear to the photographer at your shoot. The digital images you receive are for personal use only, commercial use has to be agreed by “Jason Parnell Photography”

Christmas-Themed Studio Photography

All studio shoots must arrive 5 mins before booking, this way the most can be made of your shoot time. Late arrivals could reduce your shooting time if there is an appointment after.

A Booking Fee is required to secure a shoot, no shoot is guaranteed until this payment has been made.

Gift Voucher/s must be presented at the shoot.

Images will be available to view in the studio. Once images have been chosen for editing these can not be changed.

If a shoot needs to be cancelled the booking fee is non-refundable, if a shoot needs to be rearranged I will need 24 hours notice and this can only be rebooked if there is availability.

Location Photography

1. All location shoots must arrive 15 mins before booking, this way the most can be made of your shoot time. Late arrivals could reduce your shooting time if there is an appointment after.

2. A Booking Fee is required to secure a shoot, no shoot is guaranteed until this payment has been made along with signing this agreement.

4. You are welcome to bring any props to your shoot or a change of clothing etc, however, a change of clothing will take up some of your shoot time.

6. If a shoot needs to be cancelled or rearrange please give 24 hours' notice, failing to do so will mean the shoot is cancelled and a new shoot along with Booking Fee will need to be remade. Whether changes can be expected, in the case of expecting bad weather you will be contacted before the shoot by the photographer/s to discuss a go-ahead or reschedule at no extra cost. If you agree to go ahead and the weather gets bad during the shoot the photographer/s will discuss whether to cancel or continue and settle with the images already taken.

Gift Cards

1. Gift cards do not expire and can be used against shoots and/or products at Jason Parnell Photography.

2. Gift Cards can not be redeemed for cash or refunded.

3. Gift cards can not be replaced or refunded if lost or stolen.

4. Gift cards are not credit or debit cards and therefore are not covered under credit or debit card securites.

Vouchers

1. Gift vouchers can only be redeemed at Jason Parnell Photography, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. They may be exchanged for goods of a higher price than the face value of the voucher on payment of the difference.

2. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

3. Gift vouchers are not refundable in whole or in part.

4. Gift vouchers issued are valid for up to eight people to attend a photo shoot unless the purchaser specifically purchased coverage for extra people (at an additional cost).

5. Gift vouchers are redeemable for up to 1 year from the date of purchase (e.g Purchase on 10/01/2020 valid till 10/01/2021). The voucher can be used at any point up until this date. After the valid, until the date has passed any remaining balance will be cancelled and the voucher will be invalid.

6. Jason Parnell Photography is under no obligation to honour expired vouchers.

7. Gift vouchers should be treated as cash. Jason Parnell Photography will not accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged vouchers.

8. Jason Parnell Photography will only accept the value of the gift voucher upon presentation of the original voucher (which will be hand signed by Jason). Copies will not be accepted.

9. Jason Parnell Photography reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of gift vouchers at any time and to take appropriate action, including the cancellation of the voucher, if, at its discretion, it deems such action necessary. This does not affect your legal rights.

10. Gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase further gift vouchers.

11. Gift vouchers cannot be returned or refunded, except in accordance with your legal rights.

12. Gift vouchers purchased online may be subject to postage charges (these will be made clear before ordering). Vouchers will typically be dispatched within 2 working days.
