Trudy & Pat came to see me under 2 months ago to book their wedding photography for the big day at Cockliffe Country House, Nottinghamshire.
I met Trudy in the morning and whilst she was prepping herself I got on with some photos, you know Shoes, Jewellery... THE DRESS! That sorta stuff before capturing the hair and makeup shots.
After capturing the bridal prep I headed to the ceremony room to grab some shots there too before guests swarm in and take their places. Here is my favourite! The ceremony was dressed perfectly, it looked stunning, clean and fresh, perfect for a bride.

And welcome to the day guests! Wooo Hooo it's official!
Whilst the room got flipped upside down and turned around I took Trudy & Pat for some photos, giving them a little peace and quest after all the excitement and emotion!
Time go back and see what a marvellous job had been done of now what will be the room ready for the wedding breakfast! Still doesn't make sense to me why they call it breakfast, and yes, yes I know it's the first meal of the day for the bride and groom as a married couple but still... anyway we move on, check out the room!
Time for this handsome chap to welcome in the married couple "So Ladies and Gentleman will you please be upstanding and welcome in the newlyweds... MR & MRS O'Brien!!!!"
I hope you were clapping as you read that!
After a delicious sit-down meal, the speeches got underway. Trudy said they would be quick short speeches however Adi had other plans... he winged it and went with his heart telling us stories from the past and remembering those not with us even putting a tear in Pat's eye.
Oh yeah, I took them for more photos! hahaha, love photos I do, would you have guessed?
As the day moves on and everyone is ready to party we best get the formalities done, CAKE CUT! Yum, love cake and this was simple but stylish, Trudy baked this herself! Then of course the first dance, let's not forget that!
Then that was it! Hell broke loose... well not quite hell but everyone let their hair down or put their feet up! Pat & Any made use of the crazy golf and the looks on both their faces when Aidy gets a hole in 1!
The guests get to enjoy the summer's eve with a BBQ or buffet food, an awesome live band, Magic Mirror Photo Booth, Crazy Golf, Connect 4 and even Jenga! It's fair to say the adults were just as much entertained as the kids!
So the night draws in and it's about time for me to go but I have to get 2 other shots done that I really wanted to do before I go home...
